BOLTON RUFC pre-season build up continues, with more players answering last week's plea in the BEN, to turn up to training or contact the club.
Players attending training sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays have now grown considerably, with a bit more commitment needed on Thursdays.
The club has been boosted by a batch of new players joining, with more expected to arrive this week and several returning to the fold after lay offs -- several to join the re-formed veterans team.
The club is aiming to have four senior teams out on the opening day -- September 2, with the first team away in the league, at difficult Manchester opponents Old Bedians.
Also at Bedes will be the thirds with the seconds at home to the same opposition. The vets game has still to be confirmed.
In preparation, this Saturday sees the first practice game of the season, after a light training session at Avenue Street, meet at 2.00pm.
Following on, the first and second teams are heading for a friendly on August 26th at Chorley, meet at BRUFC, 1.00pm.
It is hoped the third, fourth XVs and vets will be taking part in similar games at Bolton, meet 1.00pm.
Training continues at 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, all players experienced or not are welcome to attend at Avenue Street.
