FAMILY and friends of Bolton artist Nichola Holt were today getting ready to set off to the Big Brother house in the Channel 4 hit show.

The contingent supporting Nichola will be in the studio near the purpose-built house in London waiting in case the public vote her out tommorow night.

Dave Pierce, 28, landlord of The Flag Inn, where Nichola works part-time, is due to go down with his partner Rachael Pickup.

Rachael, 22, said: "We hope she does not get voted out by the public. But we are really looking forward to going down to see the set up anyway. We just need to make arrangements for the pub and we'll be down there.

"Nichola is a great girl and a brilliant laugh. She's really nice and we are all rooting for her."

Nichola, 29, had asked specifically for the landlord to go down along with members of her family.

The textile artist, of Turton Road, Bradshaw, is up against cheeky Scouser Craig, who was also nominated by fellow house-mates on Tuesday.

The result will be known on Friday evening at 8.30pm after which the unlucky contestant will have just two hours to pack before meeting family and friends again after more than a month.

Fans of Nichola have been contacting the Bolton Evening News to pledge their support.

Unfortunately, the BEN last night published the wrong number for those wanting to vote out Craig.

To ditch the cheeky Scouser ring 0911 980 101.

To throw out Nichola ring 09011 980 102.

We apologise to frustrated Big Brother-watchers for the error.
