A LOVING daughter who proved to be a "rock" when her grandfather was ill gets our floral thank-you this week.
Mrs Judith Culshaw from Astley Bridge wrote in nominating daughter Nicola Culshaw for our Bouquet of the Week.
"Earlier this year I went through a very traumatic and difficult time," she explains.
"My father became ill and was admitted to hospital which meant countless hours of visiting every night of the week.
"Nicola is only 24 and has a daughter of two and a half. She works full-time at St Ann's Hospice and has little time to herself, but she made the time more or less to visit her grandad every night with me.
"She was there for me at all times and was fantastic in her support. I could not have got through this time without her. Unfortunately, the prognosis wasn't good for him, and he passed away. Nicola was a tower of strength to me in all the period of time that I needed her and I feel that she deserves to be nominated for your Bouquet of the Week as a special thank you to her."
Nicola was very touched by this special thought by her mum, and loved the hand-tied bouquet which came courtesy of Caroline Ward's flower and gift delivery service (tel freephone 0800-289-335).
If YOU know a special someone who deserves our weekly bouquet, write telling us about her or him (including their daytime telephone number) to: BOUQUET OF THE WEEK, Angela Kelly, Features Department, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1DE.
