This is a light-hearted costumed walk around the Bolton of 1900, giving an insight into how things affecting everyday life have changed. HAIGH HALL, Wigan. Trains departing from Plantation Gates, Wigan Lane, Wigan for Haigh Hall. Four carriage diesel train, Samantha, providing visitors to Haigh Hall with the opportunity to enjoy the scenery from Plantation Gates to the Hall. The 18 seater train has provision for prams and wheelchairs and will run every Sunday with the first departure from Plantation Gates at 11.30am and the last at 5.30pm. The return service departs from Haigh Hall on the hour every hour from 12.30pm, with 5pm being the last departure. The cost of a ticket is £1 each way.
