THE 'fluoride fallacy' is a story of greed, duplicity, incompetence, naivety, money and power.

The power of myth, science and delusion has driven an intellectual bandwagon roughshod over genuine empiricism and cold, hard reasoning.

Fluoridation took the world by storm, that is the world where American influence is most acute, where America is seen as a shining slice of heaven from whence all things great and good flow.

From its beginnings, more then 50 years ago, fluoridation has been promoted in a manner never before seen in human, medical or political history.

A cult established because its basis was a commercial operation of dispensing this poison on behalf of those producing fluoride by-products not in any other field of commerce or industry, and by International Law not to be dumped elsewhere.

What do they do with this poisonous junk?

The media journals of science, medicine and dentistry spoke out strongly against putting poisonous fluoride chemicals in the drinking water.

However, within a very short time, commercialism took over, the media changed its scientific opinion and became an important supporter for polluting drinking water supplies with poisonous fluoride from industry.

Some editors protested, but soon found themselves out of employment.

Advantage

The important question is -- whose advantage was served by the media and scientific change of opinion, and on what scientific basis did they act when black became white and the poison became a necessary nutrient?

The world cannot accept that the unsubstantial damage was in the interest of the people, their health and democratic rights.

Perhaps the proof is recorded in the fact that 96 per cent of the world population do not use fluoridation.
