A SEVEN-year-old boy was arrested last night after a girl was shot.
The 10-year-old girl was shot by a ball-bearing firing rifle but did not need hospital treatment.
A police spokesman said the shots broke the girl's skin and were removed by the youngster's father.
Police officers were called to the scene of the incident in Stephen Street, Bury, at 7.45pm last night.
Police inquiries were still continuing today.
