RADCLIFFE Boro crashed to a 5-2 defeat last night at Ossett Town. Boro having sold striker Paul Mullin to Accrington Stanley, and without influential midfielder Mark Dempsey, never found top gear but were still in with a shout at half time at 3-2 after goals from Neil Hardy and Simon Carden.
A 75th-minute header from Russell Brierley sealed three points for Ramsbottom United in the home North West Trains derby clash with Atherton Colls.
Atherton LR beat Bootle 2-0 at home with goals from Colin Entwistle and Barry Massay.
Daisy Hill were celebrating a Dominic Shinks goal three minutes from time which earned a 2-1 home win over Tetley Walker.
