WELL done Bolton Parks Department for winning a first prize at the Tatton Park Flower Show. I wonder if the team would like to takejudges to Moss Bank Park to see the Rock Garden and the Victorian Garden, and see how many prizes they would win?
After the thousands of pounds which was spent on the Victorian Garden a few years ago, it is a disgrace to the town, overdone with weeds and completely neglected.
The Rose Garden was once the pride of Bolton, but is now in ruins.
Considering the number of visitors to Moss Bank Park, it is time the Council paid at least two full time gardeners all year round to maintain and restore these gardens to their former beauty, and give the Town, and especially the Park, something to be proud of.
