POLICE are hunting a robber who attacked a pensioner in her car.
The offender, described as white, aged 17 to 23, 5ft 10ins tall and of a thin build, struck at 2.20pm on August 22, seconds after his 64-year-old victim had parked her car on a Great Moor Street car park.
He suddenly opened the passenger door and grabbed the woman's handbag. She tried to hold onto the bag and there was a struggle during which she injured her hand and wrist.
The stolen bag, worth £20, contained £20 in cash, a pass book, Abbey National credit card and personal possessions.
The attacker had short brown hair, was clean shaven, with thin features, pale skin and a local accent. He was wearing a dirty cream bomber jacket and blue tracksuit pants.
