AMATEUR Community Theatre (ACT) have finalised their programme for the festival of music and drama at the Victoria Hall, Bolton, on Saturday.
In the first half, Horwich AOS are presenting an extract from Oliver!; Opera 74 are performing Gems from Opera and Bolton Catholic Music and Choral Society will stage an excerpt from the Broadway version of The Pirates of Penzance.
CATS (Children's Amateur Theatre Society) start the second half with Our Day Out, followed by New Rosemere AOS with a Gilbert and Sullivan Selection Box and Bolton Premier Productions with West Side Story.
For the finale, the full company will stage Do You Hear The People Sing? from Les Miserables.
Members of ACT have got together with the aim of building or adapting a building for a theatre to be used by all amateur musical and dramatic societies proceeds from the Festival of Music and Drama will be used towards a feasibility study.
