RAMSBOTTOM United will have North West Counties League Division One title credentials tested to the full tonight with a visit to the Riverside Ground of big rivals Clitheroe who have had a three game winning start.
Ken Bridge's Rams finished third in the table last season and that squad has been strengthened for the current campaign. Fresh from a 2-0 win at Cheadle Town on Saturday, Rammie will be without left back Mick Langhorn who this week faces an operation on a broken nose, keeper John Parrott and long term injury victim Dave Roach. The game kicks off at 7.45pm.
Atherton LR's home Division Two game with Chadderton is off as the Oldham opponents drew in the FA Cup on Saturday and face a replay at Guisborough Town.
