POLICE inquiries are still going on into the death of a former taxi radio operator found dead at her Whitefield home following a suspected drugs overdose, an inquest has been told.
However, Bury District Coroner, Mr Barrie Williams, in opening the hearing into the death of 22-year-old Rachel Scull, was told that police had ruled out any third party involvement into her death.
Rachel was found dead at her home in Victoria Avenue when heroin was also discovered..
The postmortem concluded there was no third party involvement but there were needle marks in Miss Scull's foot and arm.
Coroner's officer Mr Geoff Cave said the continuing inquiries concerned witnesses who might know any of the circumstances in which Miss Scull died.
The coroner adjourned the inquest pending medical reports and the outcome of the further inquiries.
