THE West Coast Skater Hockey side, the Wasps, which includes a number of Bolton Roller Hockey Club members have had a tremendous month entering four prestigeous tournaments and winning all of them.
The highlight was a a magnificent win at the weekend at Newbiggin in the North East against crack Midlands team Leasowes Sharks.
The BISHA organised competition included the pick of some of the best under 12 teams in the UK.
It was in a league format with the Wasps beating Cardiff team Howardians 5-2, Redditch Rockets 7-0, home team Cullercoats Assassins 3-0, finalists Leasowe Sharks 1-0 and a draw against local team Morpeth Mohawks 2-2 when the team understandably took their foot off the gas as they were in the final anyway.
The final itself wassaw them overwhelm Leasowe Sharks 10-1 with some of the best hockey they have ever played as captain Oliver Lomax cracked in a magnificent hat trick.
Greg Ruxton was voted top competition netminder in the dream team which was selected by all of the managers.
The next major event the team will be involved in is the Nationals which will be held towards the end of the year. If they win that they will represent England in the European championships.
