A BURY company director has been disqualified from running a business for 10 years.
Manchester County Court ruled that Howard Barry Bland, of Agecroft Road, Swinton, should not act as a company director following his conduct at Howards Textiles Limited.
The company, which was placed into voluntary liquidation in October 1998, sold goods with shops in Bury, Leigh, Rochdale and Eccles.
Mr Bland was disqualified for failing to ensure the company kept adequate accounting records, caused the business to continue trading without a reasonable prospect of paying creditors from February 1998 until liquidation and entered into transactions to the detriment of creditors.
