THE 2000 GREAT NORTHERN BRASS ARTS FESTIVAL, Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. Saturday September 2. One of the largest brass band festivals in the world featuring music from The Black Dyke Band, Williams Fairey Band and the Halle Brass. Starting at 12 noon with a concert by The Marple Band and Simon Birkett, with an afternoon concert featuring St Helens Youth Band.
