WALSHAW wicket-keeper Anthony Harris has broken a 50 year old wicket-keeping record, for the Bolton Association.
The feat is even more remarkable considering that Anthony is just 16 and playing in only his second full season in the first team.
The record was set in 1951 by J R Gradwell of Tootals SC who snared 46 victims. Anthony now has 47, with the season having another five games to run.
Anthony's record should go a long way towards helping Walshaw to a championship win for the second successive year.
