POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a car who locked his vehicle before running off following a crash on Manchester Road, Bolton early this morning.
Traffic officers say a Toyota Corolla was heading along Manchester Road at 3.15am when an Escort pulled out of Springfield Street and the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Corolla, 20-year-old Waqak Khan, of Roxalina Street, Bolton and his two passengers, Sawad Khan, aged 17, of Crescent Road, Bolton and 19-year-old Rabid Amin of Luton Street, Bolton were all taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
The Escort driver ran off and police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident or anyone who knows the driver to contact Bolton traffic unit on 0161 872 5050.
