PROVIDING width on the right hand side after the departure of Michael Johansen was always going to be one of Bolton Wanderers' problems at the start of the season.
With the injury to Ricardo Gardner on the left side the Whites looked as if they were aiming to become a team of wingless wonders.
But concerns have been eased with Bo Hansen taking up the challenge of life on the right hand flank, switching from his natural role as an out and out striker to the right side of midfield for the last two games.
Sam Allardyce is hoping that the twenty eight year old former Brondby striker could make a more permanent move to the right side of midfield.
"Bo has adapted and performed exceptionally in the last two games. I just hope that he realises it doesn't matter where you play in the first team, as long as you are playing."
"If he continues with the same approach as he showed in the last two games, not just with his crossing, but with the quality of his positioning and work rate, then it would be a fantastic bonus for us."
Jussi Jaaskelainen and Mark Fish were on international duty at the weekend. The keeper was in the Finland squad which beat Albania 2-1 in their World Cup qualifier against Albania on Saturday while Fish was on duty with South Africa in the 2-1African Cup win over the Congo. He returns immediately after the game with Sam hoping his players return injury free.
