FINANCE was on the agenda at a recent meeting of Mosaic -- the women in business group run by Bolton and Bury Chamber.
Diane Hill, of Cooper Lancaster Brewers, shared tips on the financial aspects of running a business and Barclays Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland outlined their services.
The event included a mini-exhibition covering financial matters and some of the exhibitors, including a VAT expert and a tax adviser from the Inland Revenue, made brief presentations.
Membership of MOSAIC is free to female staff from Chamber member companies.
There are now around 150 MOSAIC members -- mainly women who run their own businesses or who are in senior positions within member companies.
Further details available from Kay Gregson at the Chamber on 0845 6016010.
