LITTLE Lever produced some big hitting on Saturday as they amassed 378-3 against Farnworth.

Gary Pilling scored 138 and Lee Lomax reached his century off only 44 balls. Other notable scorers were Neil Tonge 69 and Donald Heyes 58 not out off 24 balls.

Farnworth were bowled out for 150 in reply, Jon Newlove 79 not oput, Ian Curme 3-36 Don Heyes 4-20.

Bradshaw won by one wicket after restricting Horwich to 135-7.Trevor Kos 49 not outand Rick Brandon 4-52. Bradshaw replied with 136-9,Neil Hart 47, Morgan 4-35.

Egerton beat Greenmount by eight wickets. Greenmount were bowled out for 65, P Dickinson 4-31 and C Tye 6-4 while Graham Firth with 36 not out saw Egerton to their target.

Low scoring

In a low scoring game Kearsley beat Farnworth Social Circle by 41 runs. Batting first Kearsley were bowled out for 82 by John Mulligan 3-39 and Tony Bradley 5-33. In reply Circle's batting was destroyed by Chris Lomax 3-18 and S Mort 6-23. Astley Bridge beat Heaton by five wickets after restricting them to 129-8, Paul Burton 3-23.

On Sunday Bradshaw beat Tonge by seven wickets. Batting first Tonge were bowled out for 115, Rick Brandon 4-27 G Entwistle 4-28. Bradshaw reached their target thanks to Nigel Duxbury 30 Wayne Green32 not out.

Kearsley got the better of Heaton after reaching 168, Little 60. In reply Heaton scored 132-9 Chris Lomax 7-45.

Westhoughton beat Greenmount by four runs despite being bowled out for 139.Paul Hart 57, Alan Holt 5-44. Only Paul Beesley with 59 kept Greenmount in the game before Paul Hart 5-69 and Keith Houghton 4-61 bowled them out.
