ORGANISERS of the Parcelforce Worldwide Small Business Awards competition have extended the deadline for entries until September 29.
About 50 North-West companies have already entered and the likelihood is that more will take advantage of the extension.
The competition, which is the biggest of its kind in the country, aims to recognise the small business stars of tomorrow.
Regional finalists receive £6,000 of prizes and the national winner -- to be announced in January, 2001 -- receives prizes worth £24,000.
The awards are open to businesses which employ up to 30 people. Interested businesses can contact the freephone number -- 0800 919989 -- or call up the online entry form on www.parcelforce.com/awards
