For name and address supplied, August 29, to infer that contributors should omit the past misdemeanours of the true blues, and perhaps, blow the trumpets colouring the mistakes of their term in office, itself seems to show a leaning towards the Conservative Party.
Although he hasn't the courage to put name to article, he suggests someone from Baxenden (no prizes for guessing who he means) is a Tory knocker. He obviously hasn't read my many varied articles printed by the BEN. Many bringing to task the New Labour and their failures.
Whatever party we choose to support, we are still at liberty to speak up against what we consider injustices, inflicted by the ruling government of today or even in the past.
