BLACKPOOL is inviting people from Chorley to come and enjoy this year's Illuminations.
The town's famous lights were switched on at the weekend by chart-topping boy band Westlife and will shine every night until November 5.
Illuminations boss Richard Ryan is particularly proud of this year's £2.4 million spectacular.
He said: "We made a plan to spend more money on the cliffs' tableaux and we have done a large new section called Hog Boppin', with possibly this year's largest mirror ball!"
"We have also done a section called Swan Lake and we've the largest laser show in the world."
For those who like more traditional designs, the new Fountain Fantasia display on North Promenade features 24 electronic fountains which change colour while you watch.
Jane Seddon, Blackpool's tourism chief, said: "I think the lights are definitely a North West attraction and Chorley people should come and see what is new this year and judge for themselves."
