THE Bolton League winds up the cricket season this weekend with matches tomorrow and Sunday.
The Bolton Association still have two weekends to complete, playing tomorrow and finishing with a double programme next week.
With Kearsley and Walshaw already having claimed the respective championships the attention switches to qualification for places in the Lancashire Knockout.
In the League Kearsley and Greenmount have already qualified as champions and cup winners leaving Egerton, Westhoughton, Tonge, Little Lever and Walkden to battle it out for the remaining three places.
That takes in extra significance with Egerton's final fixtures being against Tonge and Westhoughton while Little Lever and Walkden clash on Sunday.
In the Association Walshaw and Atherton have qualified and Golborne and Adlington look reasonably sure leaving Spring View and Little Hulton to battle for the remaining place.
