NEVILLE Neville has quit as Bury FC's commercial boss.
Neville, who has run Gigg Lane's commercial activities for 15 years, is joining a sports management company but will continue his association with the Shakers by remaining as a director during the club's ongoing transitional period and will be involved in special events projects and with the club's internet site.
Chairman Terry Robinson said: "His enthusiasm for his various tasks at Bury Football Club have been beneficial in our long term relationship with many well known sponsors.
"His commitment to the club has been an example. His innovative thinking and wise guidance will be sorely missed.
"I will miss the help and support he has given myself but look forward to his involvement in special events projects which we hope will be more beneficial to the club with the opportunity he will have of building up a wider contact base.
"Neville is a caring family man and our wish is that both in his new role and personal life he finds the success and happiness he deserves. We thank him for his service."
