4-3-3
JUSSI JAASKELAINEN 7
Forced into stranding himself for the first goal and helpless to avoid the second, otherwise solid again.
JOHN O'KANE 7
Did well defensively but his strong suit was going forward; a superb 'assist' for Holdsworth's goal.
GUDNI BERGSSON 8
No need for apologies this time; a rushed clearance or two but otherwise back in the old routine.
MIKE WHITLOW 8
No wonder the manager wanted him fit; used all his expertise and experience to fill in for the absent Fish.
ANTHONY BARNESS 7
Another example of the utility man's value to the team, worked hard and effectively at left back.
FRANCK PASSI 7
Survived one careless moment but earned his good fortune with another tireless performance.
PER FRANDSEN 8
It was hard work in an outnumbered midfield but the great Dane never shirked his responsibilities.
GARETH FARRELLY 9
The strikers grabbed the glory but the Dubliner's performance, on and off the ball, was outstanding.
BO HANSEN 8
For someone who supposedly doesn't like the position, he again worked well out on the right.
DEAN HOLDSWORTH 7
For 51 minutes he was the villain of the piece but his goal made him one of the heroes of the day.
ISAIAH RANKIN 6
Once again no reward for a lot of effort outside the area where he is most lethal.
Subs: Michael Ricketts (9) for Rankin 53 mins, Ian Marshall for Holdsworth 72 mins, Leam Richardson for Hansen 84 mins, Emanuele Morini, Steve Banks.

Man of the Match
MICHAEL RICKETTS
IT took the big man just 37 minutes to destroy Huddersfield with his power, pace and exquisite finishing - and he still insists he's not match fit!
The statistics show four goals in four appearances but that's only half the story. With the ability to upset defences in the way he does, he will make as many goals as he scores. He is an exciting prospect.
Moan of the Match
STEVE Bruce moaned like hell at the "schoolboy" errors his defenders made without giving any credit whatsoever to the strikers who scored three quality goals. It would have take more than schoolboys to deny Holdsworth and Ricketts.
Magic Moment
ALL winning goals are magic but, coming when Huddersfield were still celebrating their equaliser and being so superbly set up by Hansen and Marshall and clinically finished by Ricketts, this one was extra special.

63 mins: The pace and power of Farrelly's free kick forces Vaesen to make an unconvincing punch.
