The cast of Time and the Conways SANDRA Simpson directs J B Priestley's Time and the Conways for Bolton Little Theatre from September 16 to 23.
The play, which will be staged in BLT's Forge Theatre, has four actors new to the theatre -- Francesca Frazer, Emma Kirkham, Philip Lunt and Kevin Shipley. They make their BLT debut alongside the more familiar faces of Meredith Collinson, Paul Farmer, Derek Frazer, Rachel Hadjigeorgiou, Audrey Lias and Caroline Scranage.
In Priestley's famous play, Kay is celebrating her 21st birthday party in 1919. Are the happy young Conways existing simultaneously with the disillusioned Conways of 1938? Or has Kay's vivid imagination run riot?
Priestley's belief that it is possible to learn from the past -- a theme explored in When We Are Married and An Inspector Calls -- is at the heart of the play.
Tickets are available from the Albert Halls on 01204 334400, the BLT Box Office on 01204 524469 and in person between 6 and 8 pm.
