LEIGH RMI hit the road today confident they can end a run of three games without a win.

Tonight they travel to face Telford United knowing that if they can improve their strike rate, they are capable of picking up all three points.

"Saturday was a classic case of us not finishing teams off," complained manger Steve Waywell. "We had Boston on the ropes in the first half hour but we'd only one goal to show for it.

"We've got to be more ruthless."

Tonight's game has been switched to Worcester City FC while a £9.5m redevelopment scheme continues at Telford's Bucks Head ground.

"It is a long trip, so we've got to be all the more determined to come back with something," adds Waywell.

Waywell reports no major injury problems and is likely to stick with an unchanged side for a sixth successive game.

Telford have suffered a slump in form recently and have slipped from second in the table to 10th, one point and three places below RMI.

Back in contention for a place up front will be ex-Tranmere striker Chris Malkin who has now completed a three-match suspension.

RMI travel to Northwich Vics after being drawn away in the first round of the Nationwide Variety Club Trophy. The tie takes place in the week beginning September 18. If successful they would travel to Morcambe in round two.
