Asda Logic West Lancs League TEMPEST United moved into the top four of the Division One table with a 2-0 away win at the Hesketh Bank side which had gone into the weekend second in the listing.

Richard Collier opened the scoring for United on 20 minutes but the home side beat the offside trap to level just five minutes later. David Such got both Blackrod Town's goals in a shock 3-2 home defeat by Springfields, whilst a goal from Mark Height earned the Reserves a 1-1 away draw at Barnoldswick United to keep them level on points with Springfields at the top of the Division One Reserves table. Cunliffe and Roberts scored for Charnock Richard in a 2-2 home draw with bottom of the Premier Division table Vickers.

In Division One Holiday and Hughes scored twice and Warburton once for Turton in a 5-1 away win at bottom placed Haslingden St Marys. The Turton 2nds lost 6-3 at home to Burnley United.
