Wolves Reserves 1 Wanderers Reserves 0 WANDERERS' Reserves failed to find the net for the first time this season when they went down 1-0 to Wolves at Molineux last night.
The only goal came in the 24th minute. A right wing cross from Shane Tudor found Saudi international striker Sami Al Jaber. He rattled the crossbar and the rebound fell to Colin Larkin who forced the ball home.
Wanderers' best chance of the first half came just before the interval but they were denied by keeper Mike Stowell. Paul Wheatcroft was played in by David Norris and his low drive was blocked by Stowell's legs. The rebound fell to Emanuele Morini whose shot was also saved.
Clear cut chances for both sides were few and far between in the second half.
Mohamed Camara struck the post for Wolves while Wanderers' best effort came 10 minutes from time. Mickael Kaprielian fired in a shot from 16 yards which Stowell failed to hold. Wheatcroft ran in but the effort was blocked and the danger cleared.
