LEIGH Centurions Lifeline scheme is set for a major revamp with huge cash prizes up for grabs.
From October 1, Lifeline will be renamed Super Leigh 2000 - a name synonymous with the Centurions and which will be easily recognisable as one of the club's major fund-raising activities. The prize structure of the weekly draw has been reorganised and now includes a first prize of £1000, second prize of £250, third prize of £150 and a fourth prize of £100.
But in addition, members will get the chance to win £10,000 bonuses twice a year in June and December.
Membership for the draw will be changed to multiples of £1 for two numbers, four numbers for £2 etc.
Members who keep up to date with their payments will automatically go into the £10,000 donated draws at the end of June and December. Lifeline Society spokesman Don Boyle says: "We believe that we are the only club in the NFP to offer a cash prize of this size.
"Lifeline is a vital element of the club's fund-raising activities, generating funds 52 weeks a year to help the Centurions."
The new scheme will be officially launched in the Mick Martyn Suite at Hilton Park on Monday, September 25 when players and directors will be in attendance.
For further details on the scheme or on the launch contact the club on 01942-768861.
