CATTLEMARKET still remain top of the Pioneer League Premier Division after coming back from 2-0 down against last season's champions Astley Miners.
Miners went in front when, from a corner, Lennon scored with a header. Mason put Miners two up with a 35 yard strike, Turner pulled one back from the penalty spot, and after 82 minutes Greaves equalised for Cattlemarket.
Cheetham Arms moved into second place after a 5-1 away victory against King William. Two goals from Rob Camron and one from Wes Gallagher put Cheethams 3-0 up before John Powell pulled one back. In the second half two further goals from John Gilbertson sealed the points for Cheethams.
Mason Arms went in front against Farnworth Vets through Morley, but they had to settle for a draw when Austin Hurst equalised from the penalty spot.
Unity Brook had a very good home victory against Gatehouse by 3-2, Rothwell scoring two goals for Unity.
In Division One AGD Shutters remain in top spot after a 5-2 away victory against Hulton Lane. Tim Barrow hit a first half hat-trick for Shutters.
Ellesmere moved into second spot with a 5-2 victory against Royal Strikers. On target for Ellesmere was Richards with two.
Dunscar Arms still have a 100 per cent record after a 7-3 away victory against Railway. Royal Hotel and Astley Bridge had to settle for a draw in a game which was watched by Granada TV. Stringer was on target for Royal. Dave Ashton scored for Astley Bridge.
Britannia Inn had an amazing 14-0 victory against Samsons.
In Division Two Rigby Taylor's 5-1 home victory keep them in top spot. On target for Rigby Taylor was Caffrey with a hat-trick. Lewis and a Mather penalty completed the scoring.
Breightmet Rovers remain in second spot after a 5-1 away victory against Park Rangers.
Faux Forest had to come back from 3-0 down against GH Maughan to seal a 4-3 victory. Ridgeway Rovers had an excellent victory away at Great Lever, Power and Droogan on target for Ridgeway.
