ONCE again the subject of fluoride is being debated.
Sheila Jones can be commended for her concern for children's teeth, but what about the rest of our townspeople.
Those who wear dentures do not need fluoride in the water, not do those people like myself who have to take medication for the rest of their lives.
My late husband was a Lancashire Police Officer, and when we used to visit my late sister in Farnworth the first thing he did after parking the car was to get a glass to have drink of 'good water' (his words), becasue where we were stationed at that time the water used to taste, and smell, of chlorine.
There are many brands of toothpaste, and mums shoud purchase some and insist that their children use it.
Our water is good, I hope it stays that way.
