CHORLEY Social Club and Gregson Lane shared the points with a 2-2 draw on Astley Park in the Chorley and District Faulkner Motors Alliance Football League. Gregson Lane had a goal lead at half-time but Chorley Social Club came more into the game in the second half and scored twice to just one more from their opponents.
The scorers for Chorley Social Club were J Livesley and M Snape and for Gregson Lane, M Ingles found the net twice.
Clayton Brook had a good home win against Euxton Saints 4-1. J Sanderson scored a hat trick for Clayton, their fourth was an own goal.
George and Top Spinners both found the net twice to share the points on Astley Park.
Top Spinners were in the lead at half time by the odd goal in three, but George found the net again in the second half to level the scores. K Draper scored twice for George and S Leyland and M Moore scored for Top Spinners.
Market Tavern and Eagle had a goal feast on Astley Park. They shared the points with six goals each.
Eagle were in the lead at half time 3-1, but Market Tavern came back strongly in the second half and with just 10 minutes left they were leading 6-4 and then Eagle staged a late comeback to score twice and level the game.
Scorers for Market Tavern were C Ashurst (2), S Townley, M Davis, P Elliot, S Wilson and for Eagle, T Cooper (2), M Walsh, M Treadwell, D Russell and R Jolly.
White Horse found their visitors Ley Inn in good form and they lost 3-0.
