BIG Sam Allardyce glowed with pride as his newborn grandson Little Sam made his public debut.
With Wanderers currently flying high in Division One, their manager already has ample reasons to be cheerful.
But it was the birth of his second grandchild at the beginning of the month, named after the 45-year-old boss, which put the biggest smile on his face.
On the pitch, towering defender Sam was always known as a tough competitor.
But he demonstrated his softer side as he was joined by four-year-old granddaughter Harriet to show off baby Sam -- born to his son Craig and wife Nicola.
Weighing in at 9lbs 3oz at birth, Sam the younger looks set to be as strapping as his famous grandfather.
And the Whites' boss spelt out to the BEN how being a doting grandfather helps him unwind from the trials and tribulations of management.
He said: "He's not exactly little Sam but he obviously looks little in my arms. I'm told he looks like me but that's something I can't see.
"Having a lovely little grand-daughter and now a grandson is a great joy for me.
"Unfortunately being a football manager I don't get to see them as often as I would like but the time I have with them helps me relax and get away from the pressures to take my mind off football."
