Walkden beat Heaton as Farnworth triumph in derby Saturday 9th September - WALKDEN beat Heaton by 5 wickets, chasing Heaton's 134 all out (Paul Mort 63 Frank Hinks 3-38) Walkden reached their target thanks to 43 from Phil Waring 43(Paul Mort 3-39).
Farnworth Social Circle beat Farnworth by 160 runs, batting first Circle scored 218-9(Ian Edwards 32 Neil Hyde 50 David Hayes 47* Daley 4-58). John Mulligan 5-20 and Tony Bradley 3-33 then bowled Farnworth out for 58.
Greenmount beat Astley Bridge by 6 runs, batting first Greenmount scored 160-9 (Neil Earing 81 Paul Burton 4-51). In reply Bridge were bowled out for 154 (Gary Potts49 Chris Wright 7-52).
Sunday 10th September - Kearsley beat Greenmount by 46 runs, batting first Kearsley scored 183-7 (Stuart Horribin 43, Whittle 42, Greg Tonge 36 Alan Holt 3-65) in reply Greenmount were bowled out for 137 (Dave Willetts 33 Alan Kay 43 Whittle 5-41).
Walkden beat Little Lever by 7 wickets. Walkden bowled Lever out for 61( Frank Hinks 5-25 Jason Trench 3-22).
Eagley beat Bradshaw by 5 wickets. Bradshaw scored 157-8(Nigel Duxbury 30 Alex Dunne 47 Steve Whittaker 5-68). Eagley reached there target in the last over with Martin Cripps top scoring with 42(Rick Brandon 3-31).
Westhoughton beat Horwich by 8 wickets after restricting Horwich to 127-9(Trevor Kos 44 Atherton 4-37) G Dickson with 47.
Astley Bridge beat Farnworth Social Circle by 56 runs. Bridge scored 156(Patel 50* Dave Fallows 39 Tony Bradley 5-57). Paul Burton 5-51 and Gary Potts 5-44 then bowled Circle out for 100.
