DETECTIVES are hunting a gang of four men who viciously attacked a woman and took £5.60.
The attack happened at 2.50pm on Friday, September 8, as the 22-year-old victim was walking along St Matthews Walk, Bolton.
The gang walked past her, then the eldes turned, grabbed hold of her hair and punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground.
The youngest then kicked her twice in the lower back. Her plastic carrier bag was grabbed and its contents emptied on to the floor.
Her first attacker took the cash out of her purse.
It was at this point the gang was disturbed by a man walking down the street.
All four men ran off, leaving the woman shocked and upset with bruising and swelling to her face and tenderness to her lower back and scalp.
The gang members are all white males.
The eldest is about 30-years-old, 5ft 10in tall, thin build with short black wavy hair, a pale complexion, stubble on his face and a slight moustache.
The youngest is about 13 or 14-years-old, about 5ft tall, with a tanned complexion, medium build, with short, black, gelled hair with a straight fringe.
The remaining two were about 16 or 17-years-old and slim.
One is about 5ft 9in, with mousy blonde hair shaved at the back, while the other was about 5ft 6in.
