EVERTON boss Walter Smith has told Wanderers they can have a look at his highly-rated young midfielder Jamie Milligan ... but they can't buy him.
"There is no question of him leaving Everton," Smith said after agreeing to let the Blackpool-born youngster train with the Reebok squad.
"It's just the fact that Bolton want to take the opportunity of having a look at him during two or three days' training and we are allowing them to do that.
"Jamie has said he would like to try and progress in terms of first team football and Bolton may be in the position to offer him that opportunity."
Wanderers have already checked out American defender Greg Benhalter, who has also been linked with Huddersfield and Norwich.
