IT was a game of two halves when Westbury Under 12s played host to Roach Dynamos in the Bury and Radcliffe Junior League.
Westbury took the first half with a fine display and led 7-2 at the break. But it was a different story in the second period when Roach Dynamos came out with all guns blazing and clawed their way back to share the spoils in an 8-8 draw.
Luke Uttley and Marcus Rhodes both grabbed hat-tricks for Westbury while Lewis Alessandra hammered six for Roach.
In the Under 12s section of the Manchester County Cup, Radcliffe Juniors B played host to Urmston Meadowside and took part in a see-saw battle, before going on penalties.
A 2-1 lead at half-time was turned into a 9-2 win with a super second half display from North Walkden U-12s against Eagley Rangers. Stephen Yarwood hit five goals for North Walkden with Adam Berry and Nathan Monson adding two each.
Kyle Cromey netted his second hat-trick of the season helping Radcliffe Juniors A (under 14s) to an 8-1 success at Bury Rangers.
