WHILE understanding Mrs Jean Robinson's feelings concerning the death of her husband 10 years ago, I must remind her that it was the farmers and truckers who got the fuel moving last week and not the Prime Minister.

Those gentlemen knew that they had made the public's and their views known, and as they said: "Why hurt the very people who had supported them so well."

No credit to Tony Blair, who only thought about saving his own face. He could have agreed to meet with the men to maybe try to sort something out, instead of being so arrogant.
