I, LIKE many folk, thought Richard Branson would be the ideal person to run the lottery. I had forgotten his escapade with Customs and Excise in the early '70s.

And this certainly isn't a case of a few fags and some booze. It involved a carefully planned operation by even using the Customs and Excise operation itself.

I would have thought anyone having been arrested, charged, and even jailed for a few hours, would automatically be discounted from operating the National Lottery, even Richard Branson!

It goes to show, who can you trust!!
