WHY does Sheila Jones insist in using emotive language about the plight of children's teeth in Bolton but not take note of the many letters from people who are telling her the reason for this state of affairs?

If Bolton's water was the cause of children suffering bad teeth, then I would be on her side but I'm sure she will not be silly enough to say this was so.

I would like Sheila to answer the questions I have put to the pro-fluoride 'experts' but never had an answer.

What is the source of this artificial fluoride that will be added to our water? Who supplies it? Can one part per million be sustained in adding it to the water? I doubt if Sheila could, or would, answer these questions for me.

There has never been, as far as I know, any in-depth assessment of the damage it can cause to older people, although I have read of cases occurring in the Midlands of mottling of teeth, and, in older people, bone problems.

It is also unacceptable, Sheila, to force people to drink water that has been treated with a known poison. The water authorities have a duty to supply clean, pure water.

To do this, they have to add certain chemicals, which make the water safe to drink. To add artificial fluoride would cause the danger of interaction, besides it being morally wrong.
