I WRITE in support of the fuel protesters blockade.
If it is politics, it is due to a Prime Minister who treats Parliament with contempt, a Chancellor who is invisible, and a Transport Minister who is arrogant.
The trade unions do not support the blockade because they did not organise it like they did during all the strikes of the last Labour Government.
They don't like ordinary people thinking for themselves without being 'organised'. I see no scenes of violence of intimidation with these protesters as with trade unions. I don't hear comment against the protesters on the streets or in the shops.
So far, opinion seems to swing in the direction of "the Government had it coming for not listening and being out of touch."
No doubt that will change if it goes on much longer but that is so up to now.
I have no political affiliation.
