Moses Gate COUNTRY PARK, Farnworth, working woodlands' festival, Sunday September 24, 11am to 5pm. A great day of fun and entertainment for all the family with traditional arts, crafts, demonstrations, displays, food. You can have a go at tree climbing, willow weaving, horse logging, felling and more. Listen to the tales of forest magic with the mystical woodland storyteller at the storytelling circle or go back in time and take a relaxing horse carriage ride. You can catch a free vintage bus to and from the festival all day. It will pick up every half an hour from 11am to 4pm at Bolton Railway Station to the festival and return. The last service from Moses Gate is at 5pm. Admission adults £2.50, children and pensioners £1, family ticket £5 to admit two adults and up to four children. Programmes 50p.
