PAUL Terzis is trying to set Leigh Centurions up with more international opposition in the lead up to the new season.
The Hilton Park head coach has made tenative enquiries about a possible match against one of the Emerging Nations World Cup teams to complete his pre-season build-up.
Leigh already have a game against South Sydney on November 21 and now would like to meet one of RL's minor nations at Hilton Park.
"It would be great if we could set something up with, for example Lebanon, who are basically an all-Aussie team and are coached by ex-Leigh player John Elias," Terzis said.
"I aim to make contact with a number of nations to see if they could tack an extra game on to the end of their World Cup commitments.
"Then of course we would have to get approval from the Rugby League. It would be nice if we could pull it off."
