A GROUP from United Ebonite and Lorival Ltd (now Lorival Plastics), who went on a trip to Wedgwood in 1961.
Mrs Audrey Rostron, of Redcar Road, Smithills, who sent me the picture, is third from the right on the front row, and Millie and Jack Lawton (both late Little Lever councillors) are also on that
row.
Mrs Rostron writes: 'I still have a white Wedgwood flower vase I bought from their seconds shop. It was faintly horrifying to see men in overalls swinging expensive coffee jugs casually as they went for a refill.'
