MORE than 30 athletes from Chorley Harriers junior club enjoyed a weekend trip to Arnside where they trained every morning and had talks in the afternoons.
Tony Bond lectured on the work of the Bowland Pennine mountain rescue team, Jeanette Crosland, who works with the British Olympic team, gave a talk on nutrition and hydration, and international runner Heather Knight held a question and answer session.
Juniors' coach Rick Bennett said: "It was so successful that we are thinking of making it an annual event."
