A THIEF left a Bolton toddler heartbroken after stealing the bike his grandmother had bought for him.
Five-year-old Joby Norris, of Bury Road, Bolton, ran screaming to his mum Denise to tell her that his cycle had been stolen as he played with a friend.
She was appalled to learn that the thief, who Joby's friend had spotted riding off on the bike, was aged between 11 and 13.
Despite an extensive search, she failed to find the Apollo Scorpion bike.
She reported the theft to police soon after the bike had been taken, at about 5.15pm on Wednesday.
The thief has ginger hair and was wearing a white Adidas top and white combat pants.
