CHORLEY children were delighted to receive free computer equipment for their schooling.
Excited pupils from five local schools -- Euxton CE primary, St George's CE primary (who were also celebrating their school's 175th anniversary), St Laurence's CE primary, Parklands High, and St Mary's RC primary -- were presented with computers and video equipment as part of the Tesco Computers for Schools scheme, now in its eighth year.
MP Lindsay Hoyle presented the equipment at a special event held at Tesco on Ackhurst Industrial Estate, Chorley. ALL very PC! : Elis Woudhoush and Aaron Bond (St Mary's RC primary), Caroline Brown and Joe Turner (St George's CE primary), and Abigail Hart and Graeme Roocroft (Euxton CE primary) with MP Lindsay Hoyle.
