THE search for missing Westhoughton policeman Albert Paxford -- who disappeared on a diving expedition -- is due to be resumed tomorrow.
Police in Scotland called off the search last Monday because of heavy rain and high winds.
But with calm weather forecast for tomorrow, a search of the Scottish coastline will be resumed, carried out by police officers and HM Coastguard with the assistance of the Galloway and Moffat Mountain Rescue teams.
Father of two Mr Paxford, 40, of Quakerfields, Westhoughton, was reported missing after he failed to return from a dive five miles off Burrowhead in Galloway on October 6.
